Moonlight Confessions

Someone will lay under the sky while I sing to the moon beside me. He will hold me under the heavens and look at me like I’m made of stardust. He will watch me walk the shoreline like a goddess baring herself to the sunlight. He will walk through Christmas trees with me while I decide which one smells like the season and cut it down for me. He will get my early mornings. He will bury himself in me and learn every sigh.

And when you miss me — know you opened the door for him to learn me.
